Elisa Nemmers

Ink, Watercolor, Drawing

2

I have been drawing architecture since I was five and I have been in awe of the glory of architecture my entire life.
I was adopted from Pskov, Russia at the age of two. The city is over a thousand years old and filled with structures from antiquity. Most of the art I create features fictional Russian architecture based strongly in historic fact.
I am on the autism spectrum, and my art is greatly influenced by my vivid autistic experience. I am driven to create art that showcases the beauty of architectural history and that aids the viewer in interpreting and understanding my autistic experience.
