Linda Blondheim

Oils, Acrylic

1

I work from a peaceful country studio just behind my home, surrounded by open cattle land. I carved a winding path called Deer Woods Trail through my property. Along the trail, I encounter much wildlife. My love for Florida’s landscape is deepened by my certification as a Florida Upland and Wetlands Naturalist, an achievement that strengthens my work as a painter of the natural world. Combined with my formal training, earning both a BFA and an MFA, enriches my ability to observe and interpret the subtle beauty around me. I am devoted to documenting the rural lands, agricultural spaces, and native trees of beloved Florida. I view painters as stewards of history and culture, capturing the spirit of their time.
