Michael Nuetzel, originally from Indiana, received his A.A. in general education from Santa Fe College, B.D. in graphic design from the University of Florida and a B.S. in art education and M.F.A. in visual communication from Florida State University. He has worked at University of Florida in the following departments, Instructional Resource Center, IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences) and News and Public Affairs as a publication specialist. He has done contact work as a graphic designer for the Interactive Division of the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) in West Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He has been an active member of the AIGA (the professional association for design), Gainesville, Florida Chapter and the GFAA (Gainesville Fine Arts Association) where he has won numerous awards. He has taught graphic design for a combine forty-five years at Florida State College at Jacksonville, Florida Southern College, University of Florida, Penn State University, and Shepherd University, West Virginia where he was the coordinator of the program. After retirement Michael is presently an Adjunct Professor at Santa Fe College, Gainesville, Florida.
