Oils

I live in Florida and love the tropical climate and teeming life at home there. I was born in California but lived most of my childhood in Kenya, and Africa remains a strong influence. I worked for many years in graphic design before transitioning to oil painting. I find inspiration in the patterns and forms of nature, and in human faces and figures. I paint everything from portraits to landscapes to abstractions. I am focused on line, shape and color and the way those elements influence and inform each other to create a sense of connection and oneness.
