"Disappear, you QUEER!" Is a passionate social justice piece illustrating the feelings and the fallout of the Queer community, especially the POC members, who have had their lives shattered by the recent, constant political attacks and legislation targeting our community and existence here in the state of Florida. The puzzle pieces comprising the Queer hero, the focal point, are representing the true selves we have all, as LGBTQI people, have evolved into, despite being told we are never enough for this world. The state of Florida, poised like a gun, threatens to destroy the very essence of our hero and, on a larger scale, obliterate the complete puzzle, complete humans, complete community of heroes we know we all TRULY are.
