Isolation, trepidation, frustration, a profound sense of loss, social unrest, insurrection. A year that for me did not lend itself to creativity. My solace was taking long walks in the wonderful natural areas surrounding my home (Susan Wright Trail) and exploring old nearby communities that are crumbling under the weight of time and neglect (Island Grove Methodist Church).
