Mandala Collage I - Mary Bast

To manage the anxieties of isolation, I began coloring mandalas to accompany daily mantra meditation (Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya). Gradually, I realized I was also creating some beautiful art paper to use in collages and other mixed media works. "Mandala I" shows three small mandala centers on a background of randomly cut mandala pieces, all in shades of gold and green with dark blue accents. "
