Leftover oil colors applied distractedly onto a new canvas and traveling with my Muse are my sources of inspiration. The unused colors create images that suggest forms and figures. Traveling provides feelings that I want to perpetuate. Finding those images and completing them is like finding silhouettes in the clouds. The canvas talks to me as I rescue shapes, figures and images that I feel are already there. As they come into focus a new story emerges on the canvas.
