Ode to the Anthropocene - Michelle Nagri

15 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 2 1/4"

Thinking about all our trash that inevitably ends up in our natural environments. The inorganicness of plastic. Birds making nests from found objects, or mistaking found objects for organic and edible matter. What does tomorrow look like? Will we drown in our own plastic or something far worse? There's always the hope for a better tomorrow, but sometimes the problem can feel so overwhelming that it's hard to know where to start. Have to wonder what makes a difference, can one make a difference? I sure hope so.
