Colleen Rand moved to Gainesville in 1977 and became a member of GFAA by 1980. This piece is based on a turn of the This piece is based on a turn of the nineteenth century statue from her husband’s Grand Aunt.

I’m not a very active person, I tend to I’m not a very active person, I tend to recognize people in the old Guard rather than the new. It’s nice to have a permanent space - that’s the real prize.
