These Things That I Hold Dear - Cesar Evans

These Things That I Hold Dear - Cesar Evans

B.1983 Santa Rosa de Copan - Honduras.

Acrylic & Acrylic Marker on Black Canvas

23.5 x 23. 5 inches

This Painting is inspired in part by my own mental health journey. When I am floating & flailing, and looking for grounding...I turned inward to the things that I hold most dear. My loves and aspirations, have pulled me out of dark times of wallowing and self-pity, depression and self-doubt. The colors of this painting are meant to be calming, and subdued; peaceful. This Piece is an anchor to remind the viewers of what matters most to them, and to hold on to these loves; the things that you hold most dear to pull you through the times that get difficult.
