Mike Segal
b.1949

Mike Segal is a regional painter from Chiefland, Florida and has been a long-time member of GFAA, participating in festivals and exhibiting his work. He was born and exhibiting his work. He was born on Miami Beach, Florida in 1949.

Mike has a degree in Landscape Architecture Mike has a degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design from North Carolina State University, School of Design. He has been painting for 59 years. Working at the Florida Department of Natural Resources in the 1970's, Mike helped design many regional and state parks in Florida including the Devil's Millhopper in Gainesville. He has taught in the Artist in the Schools program for 27 years, written art curriculum, and conducted workshops for the Alachua County Public Schools.
