Warp & Weft - Stephanie Hass

Weaving with wools and beads, 30x14 Thirty years ago when I came to Florida, I wanted to learn to weave. With infinite patience, Dad showed me how to thread the heddles, adjust the tension, keep the margins even, and press the treadles. To Dad's warp, we added my sister's weft - the Laissez les bons temps rouler beads of Mardi Gras. This piece contains the memories of treasured family members.
