Wood Storks at Rum Island - Susan K Jacobson

Wood Storks at Rum Island - Susan K Jacobson

12" x 16"x 3/4"

Acrylic Paints

It is always a treat to watch Wood Storks forage for fish/frogs/insects by feeling around with their bills and stirring the water with their pink toes. Somewhat homely, they are North America's only stork, sadly threatened from habitat loss. This pair provided entertainment and a peaceful scene for my painting at the Santa Fe River.
