This tapestry plays with ideas of time. The process of weaving is a slow and meditative one. Each thread is layered on top of the last - over under over under- until the finished tapestry is a physical representation of the hours spent creating it.
In this piece, Woosh, I used an ancient technology to create a tapestry that speaks to the sense movement, speed and change in the modern world.
