This painting is of a remembered dream, from when I was very young. It is composed of sound, temperature, feeling, but no words.. In the dream I am in a safe space that I do not want to leave, but I am being forced to leave. I feel vibrations and hear the sound of a basso footfall, and the child-me interprets this as some distant beasts, like elephants, approaching. It is warm where I am, and cold where I am going, and that is all I know.
