GFAA Board

I have been thinking a lot about the GFAA Board lately. I have been really fortunate to be surrounded by hard working, really committed, terrific people. Look at the success of the GFAA, in all capacities, these past three years, and you will have to agree. We happen to have a few spots on our general board. I have to believe that there are many members who would be an asset to our board. Are you one of them? Are you interested in stepping up and being part of this growing, successful art association? If so, or if you have questions about what it means to be on the board, email me: karen@karenkoegel.com I am wondering just how far the members will push themselves for the Out of the Box Exhibit. So far, we have had pictures of a few real winners sent to us (for one of them see below). I hope they are representative! You are probably thinking, “Karen says ‘push yourself’ for each themed exhibit!” You are right—I do. When, after 93 years, this Arts Association has an opportunity for the members to show their many talents, I am going to do everything I can to get the best out of all of you! And, speaking of another opportunity, tomorrow is the final day for the Oak Hammock submission. Get those photos of your work in. Questions? Email jane@paintingsbyjane.com
